Book Sale 2016
Friends of the Library Book Sale – Saturday, Feb 4, 9 am - 3 pm with special pre-sale purchases for Friends Members only on Feb 3 from 5 - 7 pm (Not a Friend yet? Not a problem – join for 6 months for only $3.) The Library is sharing a large number of books in preparation for the upcoming remodel – cost is a freewill donation. No public donations of books are needed at this time; please save items for the next book sale to be held Sept. 7 - 9. In case of inclement weather, visit the Library’s Facebook page or website or call the Library at 462-1731 to see if the sale is being held.

Tiny Tykes –Tuesdays, 10:30 am*
This weekly story time is for our youngest library patrons age birth -2 years and their parents or
caregivers. Newborns and children can enjoy stories, movement activities, songs, and plenty of time for free play. Guided story times typically last 20 minutes, followed by 45 minutes of free play. *Tiny Tykes will be held at the Library at 10:30 am through January 31; due to the remodel, the story time will move to our temporary location at the Winterset Art Center at 224 S. John Wayne Dr. and start at 10:00 am.
Story Time –Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10:30 am*
Weekly fun for families with children ages 3-5 years old. Children will be involved in interactive stories, songs, and activities. These sessions typically last 30 minutes and siblings are welcome. Story time is a gentle introduction to classroom learning for little ones. *Story Time will be held at the Library at 10:30 am through February 2; due to the remodel, the story time will move to our temporary location at the Winterset Art Center at 224 S. John Wayne Dr. and start at 10:00 am.

Ice Crystals on Window
Brrrrr!  It's so cold this January.  Stop in the library and stock up on new books,dvds, music cds, & puzzles.  It's a perfect time of year to stay inside and read.  We have lots of fun cake pans to checkout - for baking projects with the kids on cold winter days!

Community Coffee Group - will be meeting every Friday from 9:00-10:00 am, during the months of Feb. & March, at the Madison County Historical Society Museum, 815 S 2nd Ave, Winterset

Friends Meeting - 2nd Thursday, of month, from 6:30-8:00 pm

Library Board of Trustees - 3rd Tuesday, of month, from 6:30-7:30 pm

Story Time - every Wednesday & Thursday at 10:30 for preschoolers ages 3 and up

Tiny Tykes - Story Time every Tuesday at 10:30 for ages 0-2
