| Start working on your costumes! The Winterset Public Library will hold an Egyptian Costume Contest for families on Saturday, March 10th from 1:30-3:00. Grand prize is 4 tickets to the Science Center of Iowa's "Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science" open now through April 29th. The set of tickets is worth over $50! The Costume Contest is open to individuals and families. In addition to an Egyptian costume parade, you can taste an Egyptian snack and work on a hieroglyphic craft. There will be prizes! This program is free and open to those who register by February 25th. Register by calling the Library at 462-1731. |
