Did you know that clothing can make you sick, break your bones, and even kill you?  It's true!  It can even drive you mad!

This program takes a look at 18th - 19th century fashions and the deadly secrets hiding behind those fabulous looks.  We'll tackle some of those urban myths, too, including whether it was possible for Scarlet O'Hara to have an 18" waist!

Join us at the library for a light afternoon tea followed by our presentation.  Registration is required.  Visit SignUpGenius or call the library at 515-462-1731 to register.  This program is free and appropriate for ages 12 - adult.  It is offered as part of the Women's Weekend in Winterset with the Madison County Chamber of Commerce.
